Beklo Manekya Secondary School

Beklo Manekya Secondary School was initially made up of four classrooms with almost 500 students completing Grades 9 and 10. The school was desperately undersized and at full capacity. There were approximately 1,000 young people in the local area that were refused enrolment each year. With the next closest secondary school many days walk away, they were denied an education beyond grade 8.

In 2012 we constructed an additional four classrooms, doubling the capacity of the school and allowing an additional 400 students to attend each year.
